Actual products may vary due to:

• material characteristics (glass, aluminium, timber, PLA)

• handmade and small-batch production

• natural patina, ageing, colour variation or texture changes

• lighting, screen colour settings, device differences

These variations are not faults and do not provide grounds for return, refund or exchange.

We may:

• change product descriptions at any time

• discontinue items

• limit quantities

• restrict sales by location or individual
  

3. Orders, Acceptance & Made-to-Order Conditions

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase.
We reserve the right to accept or reject any order at our discretion.
An order is not accepted until payment is received and you receive an order confirmation.

Because many Space-man Studio products are custom, made-to-order or produced in small quantities, cancellations are not guaranteed and may not be accepted once production has begun.

All purchases are subject to our Returns & Refunds Policy.

You agree that purchases are for personal use and not for resale, commercial distribution, or export.

 

4. Pricing, Payment & Billing Information

Prices may change without notice.
Product prices may differ from those in retail stores or other platforms.

Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude:

• shipping

• taxes

• duties (for international orders)

• customs fees

• handling charges

You agree to:

• provide accurate payment information

• ensure valid billing details

• pay all charges incurred

• pay all applicable taxes and fees

5. Shipping, Delivery & Risk Transfer

By purchasing through our store, you agree to our Shipping Policy.

Key terms include:

• all delivery timeframes are estimates only

• we are not liable for courier delays, customs delays, weather or events outside our control

• risk transfers to you once the order is delivered to the address provided

• Authority to Leave (ATL) transfers full risk to you once the parcel is marked delivered

• missed deliveries may incur additional redelivery or storage fees

• international duties and customs fees are your responsibility

Delivery does not include installation, electrical work, carrying goods beyond the first safe entry point, or assembly.

 

6. Product Use, Care Requirements & Installation

Space-man Studio products must be used as intended.

Unless specified otherwise, our products are designed for:

• indoor use only

• dry environments free from moisture, steam or humidity

• stable interior conditions

• installation by a licensed electrician (for lighting products)

Damage caused by the following is not considered a fault:

• direct sunlight or UV exposure

• heat sources (radiators, heaters, hot windows)

• water, moisture or humidity

• improper installation

• incompatible power sources

• misuse, neglect or impact

• incorrect cleaning methods

• modification or alteration

Such damage voids all warranty, return and refund eligibility.

 

7. Material Variation, Patina & Ageing

Due to the handmade and material-forward nature of our objects and lighting:

The following are normal and expected, and do NOT constitute defects:

• variations in colour, opacity or texture

• slight dimensional differences

• PLA layer lines or surface variation

• aluminium oxidation, patina or surface ageing

• glass variation in tone, flow marks or air inclusions

• ageing or natural wear from normal use

Purchasing our products constitutes acceptance of these characteristics.

 

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Services—including text, images, design, logos, product photography, layout, and graphics—is owned by Space-man Studio or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• copy

• reproduce

• distribute

• alter

• reverse engineer

• create derivative works

• use our trademarks or branding

All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

We may provide access to third-party services or links for convenience.

Space-man Studio is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services. Sales made through our store are made directly between you and Space-man Studio, not Shopify.

You acknowledge that Shopify:

• is not responsible for transactions

• is not liable for injury, damage or loss from your purchases

• is released from all claims arising from transactions with us
  

11. Feedback & Submissions

Any feedback, reviews, suggestions, proposals or creative submissions you send to us may be used by Space-man Studio for any lawful purpose without obligation to compensate or credit you.

You warrant that:

• it does not infringe on third-party rights

• it is lawful and not harmful, abusive or defamatory

We may moderate or remove feedback at our discretion.

12. Errors, Omissions & Availability

Occasionally the Services may contain errors or inaccuracies (including regarding pricing, shipping, descriptions or availability). We reserve the right to correct these without notice, including after an order has been placed.

• we do not guarantee that products will meet personal expectations or approximate rendered images

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty limitations; where required, consumer rights apply.

 

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Space-man Studio and its employees, contractors, partners and suppliers shall not be liable for any:

• indirect, incidental or consequential damages

• loss of profits, revenue, data, use or savings

• replacement costs

• business interruption

• emotional distress

• loss related to misuse, installation error or improper care

• damage resulting from courier handling or post-delivery events

Our total liability arising from the Services or products shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product(s) giving rise to the claim, unless required by the ACL.

 

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Space-man Studio and Shopify from any claim arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Services, or violation of law or third-party rights.

If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Space-man Studio.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Victoria.
